Erebus Solution for Tennessee Schools

By Tom Brannon

Erebus is launching a new era of family safety and security. Following the Coventry School shooting in Tennessee, the State Legisture passed a new law to guide state schools to develop stronger laws to protect their students. Erebus meets these requirements and goes beyond to utilize added tools such as sensors, attached to Erebus and all plugged into a common system that links all law enforcement, first responders, fire depts, EMS, etc. Further, this app may also offer parental connections and a way that verifies arrivals of students with vehicles that bring them to school and pick them up. This can also produce automated attendance reports.

Raising a family and keeping them safe is a difficult task, filled with uncertainty and risk. But if the whole option of Erebus sensors is engaged, communications with law enforcement and first responders begins almost immediately; sensors signal if a gun is deteected, or shots fired. If a fire is detected or an unrecognized person causes an RFID alarm, or if a manual alert is triggered by staff, Erebus alerts for all response within seconds. Erebus can also notify parents immediately with the location where children will be transferred. With this method of communications, there need be no public alerts that interfere with parents' privacy. And first responders are also directed to specific locations where they are needed.. More information on the school safety app is in the Newsroom Press Release.
